SELC is committed to continuous quality improvement, a process that ensures our program is intentional, reflective, and always working to strengthen services and outcomes for children and families. This process guides how we evaluate our practices, set goals, and make meaningful improvements throughout the year.
To support this work, SELC maintains a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) that is reviewed annually by the Board of Directors and staff and updated periodically as goals are met or new needs arise.
Each year, SELC distributes family and staff surveys to gather feedback on program strengths and areas for growth. Survey results help identify priorities for improvement and guide the development of action steps.
After surveys are reviewed and a QIP is created or updated:
Families, staff, and the Board of Directors receive a summary of survey results
SELC shares how we plan to address any issues or suggestions raised
Updates are communicated through email/Brightwheel and included in the monthly newsletter
