Giraffe Room

Our Giraffe Classroom serves both half‑day and full‑day preschool children. In this engaging space, Ms. Aftynne and Ms. Alesia support each child in expressing themselves through building, art, music, movement, language, and dramatic play. We believe in helping every child feel that their individual needs are met while also learning to respect the needs of others.

Because children grow and develop at their own pace, teachers offer a balance of group activities and individualized support. Learning remains fun, hands‑on, and developmentally appropriate, with plenty of opportunities for exploration and play. The classroom is equipped with materials and equipment designed to promote growth across all developmental areas.

Preschoolers in this class work on early academics, independence, and social‑emotional well‑being. For our pre‑kindergarten students, we also emphasize kindergarten readiness, including academic foundations, self‑help skills, and positive peer interactions.

This classroom maintains a 1:10 teacher‑to‑child ratio with a maximum class size of 16.
